The students at Breakout are taught by our experienced and enthusiastic teachers, who all hold an enhanced DBS check (formerly known as a CRB check). More information about the Breakout team can be found below.
Rachel launched Breakout Performing Arts, in October 2012, during her MA studies at the University of Wolverhampton. Growing up, she attended many stage schools and had a passion to set up her own, merging all the ideas from schools she had attended in her childhood to form Breakout Performing Arts, the company you see today. Alongside managing the weekly classes, she also teaches piano, singing and acting privately from her home in West Bromwich.
During David’s time at university, he performed in more than twenty concerts, had the opportunity to conduct and lead choirs, and has performed under the direction of Gareth Malone – the presenter of the BAFTA-award-winning television series The Choir.
David is naturally good at entertaining, understanding and teaching children, for which he has great enthusiasm and experience. He teaches throughout the week, delivering one-to-one piano, singing and acting lessons, and leading group classes in the performing arts. He loves his job!
